Ferrari has officially launched its highly anticipated F80 flagship sports car, setting the starting price at an impressive €3.6 million. This new model represents the pinnacle of Ferrari’s engineering and design, combining cutting-edge technology with the brand’s signature performance.

Ferrari has unveiled a new top-of-the-line supercar: the 1,183-horsepower F80 hybrid. The powerful model continues the tradition of Ferrari’s flagship supercars, inheriting the glory of iconic models such as the F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari.

Ferrari said the F80, which debuted on October 17, is seen as “the pinnacle of internal combustion engine automotive engineering.” The company said the F80 will be limited to 799 units, each with a starting price of 3.6 million euros (about $3.9 million) in Italy. Ferrari’s marketing chief Enrico Galliera said at a media preview at Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters on October 15 that the F80’s production exceeded the previous 499-unit LaFerrari due to the increase in the number of collectors of the brand’s vehicles.

The F80 features a sleek, aerodynamic design that is both visually stunning and optimized for speed. Under the hood, it is equipped with a powerful hybrid powertrain that delivers exceptional horsepower and torque, promising an exhilarating driving experience.

Ferrari’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the F80, as the hybrid system not only enhances performance but also reduces emissions, aligning with the growing demand for eco-friendly supercars.

Ferrari says the F80’s exterior design marks a “radical change in the brand’s visual language”. One of the goals was to create a car with an innovative visual identity that, despite being a single-seater, can accommodate a driver and a passenger. The relatively narrow cabin rises from the bottom of the body, which Ferrari chief designer Flavio Manzoni said was inspired by a “spaceship”.
