Tesla will launch a new V4 Supercharger next year to improve charging speed and power, bringing a more efficient charging experience to electric vehicle users. The new charging station will support up to 500 kilowatts of charging power, providing faster charging support for Tesla’s Cybertruck and other electric vehicles.
In addition, the V4 charging station will also provide 1.2 megawatts of charging capacity for Tesla’s commercial Semi trucks to meet the needs of large commercial vehicles. Currently, Tesla is applying for relevant operating licenses, and the new charging piles are expected to be launched in parts of Europe and the United States. Compared with the existing V3 charging station, the upgraded equipment of the V4 charging station will further improve the charging efficiency and is expected to become the core facility for charging electric vehicles in the future.
