In a statement, Honda confirmed that some models had been found to have fuel leak and odor issues, prompting the company to halt shipments of the affected vehicles since September this year to prevent potential safety hazards. The recall aims to protect consumer safety and ensure the reliability of the vehicles.

Consumers are advised to contact Honda dealerships as soon as possible for more information and to arrange repairs. The company stated that the affected high-pressure fuel pumps would be replaced free of charge to ensure vehicle safety.

Honda emphasized that safety is always the company’s top priority, and relevant departments are actively communicating with consumers to ensure a smooth recall process.

This recall serves as a reminder to automotive manufacturers of the importance of ensuring the quality and safety of vehicle components during design and production. Consumers should also remain vigilant when choosing vehicles and conduct regular checks to ensure their cars are in good working condition.
